INFORMO_IO - Education public protest in Rome (30.10.08)

INFORMO_IO è un’iniziativa che verte sulla libera informazione, nata per combattere la corruzione nel sistema di informazione dei mass media italiano, in seguito ad alcune drammatiche decisioni del governo in merito all’educazione pubblica. Questo è uno dei sei reportages prodotti su questo tema e mostra la protesta pubblica avvenuta a Roma dove più di 1.000.000 di cittadini si sono riversate nelle piazze della capitale per manifestare il loro disappunto per la politica del governo che vuole trasformare le scuole pubbliche in private e tagliare migliaia di posti di lavoro nel sistema educativo nei prossimi anni, oltre a diversi miliardi di Euro alla ricerca italiana.

INFORMO_IO is an initiative about free information, born to fight the corruption in the Italian mass media system, after some dramatical government’s decisions about the freedom of education in Italy. This is one of the six reportages till today produced about this topic and it simply shows the poblic protest happened in Rome where more than 1.000.000 people went on the streets manifesting their disappointment for government politics which most likely will tranform public schools in private institutions cutting thousands of working places in education system in next few years and as well will cut several billion Euro to Italian research.
